The app is basically a digital version of the coupons section in a newspaper or magazine. It’s a “marketplace” for savings and deals and you can search for digital flyers from over 2,000 retailers. From Farm Boy to Sobeys, Food Basics, T&T and so much more. The app allows you to clip your digital coupons into a digital shopping list that is available to you anytime and anywhere.
Checkout 51
Checkout 51 is an app that allows you to save money on gas, groceries and everyday items. All you have to do is scan a photo of the recipe and earn cash back from your favourite brands.
The list of offers updates every Thursday to provide you with the latest savings. Choose the savings you’d like to check out and redeem them when you purchase your item. But make sure to save your receipt because you will need to upload it to be approved for your cashback.
Also keep in mind that the offers are available in limited quantities, so you will want to set a weekly alarm on your phone to make sure you get those deals.
PC Optimum
How does PC Optimum work? Well, when you shop, you earn points that can be used to buy your favourite foods, essentials or indulgences. You can earn almost 15 points for every dollar you spend at Shoppers Drug Mart, but you can also earn points from selected gas stations, stores and more. And every 10,000 points is worth around $10 of free stuff.
Caddle
Caddle is an app that allows you to earn cash back by taking part in surveys, buying products, giving reviews and more. Technically, you could be making money just by sitting at home and browsing the app. Users can make $20 or more in select cash-out opportunities. The app has worked with brands like Campbell’s, Danone, Domino’s and Nestle!
Flashfood
Flashfood is an app that allows shoppers to get their hands on fresh and affordable groceries. They partner with grocery stores to take foods nearing the “best by” date and sell them for 5o per cent of the original price. This also helps reduce food waste, which we love! All you have to do is download the app and search for stores available near you. You can make the purchase directly from your phone and once you’re there, pick up your order and you’re good to go.
